Happy Fall...

I am so in love with fall, it is absolutely my favorite time of year. With that in mind, I put together this quick little gift or treat bag using pieces from the Stampin' Up! Tag A Bag Bundle.

What's this you say? A gusseted bag made from a flat bag? Yes, the flat chevron bag is just a few snips and folds away from becoming this little beauty.

The top and bottom layer are tags that come with the kit. I stamped on the top layer with stamps from the For All Things stamp set. While rummaging around on my table for Snail, I ran across a scrap from another card I made which already had stamping that matched this project. I love it when something comes together completely unplanned.

See the interesting bottom detail on the middle tag? I used the Elegant Butterfly punch to make that shape on the bottom.

Don't forget, today is the last day for 25% off on these Stampin' Up! Weekly Deals!

Please use the current hostess code listed up on the top right corner of the page, or if your order will total $150, be your own hostess and earn hostess benefits!

Witchy Woman & Weekly Deals

This is somewhat telling you my age, but I adore anything the Eagles ever sang. Witchy Woman is one of those songs that I tend to sing along to when no one is around. If you heard me sing, you would know why it is only while I am alone!

That song came to mind as I put this tiny broom together for a workshop. How cute is this?

The broom portion is a natural coffee filter and the sucker is one of those mini Tootsie Pops. The broom stick is wrapped with black masking tape. The top of the hat is from the Stampin' Up Tree Punch, the brim is the Word Windows punch. The words are from that cool set called Good Greetings and are stamped with Whisper White Craft Ink. The band is drawn with our Silver Stampin' Dazzle Marker. Did you know you can receive Good Greetings free with a $300 order of your own or workshop (including your personal order) totaling that amount? This is a limited time offer through October 31. Words for everything!

Just Fabulous!

I have a fabulous sister-in-law. She is always doing for others. When her birthday rolled around, I wanted to let her know how much I appreciate her and all she does for everyone else.

This set includes a card with matching envelope, gift bag & handmade box of note cards. I love the fact that Stampin' Up offers ribbon that matches ink & paper, it takes the guess work out of it. The flower is from the Bloom with Hope hostess set.

I stamped the images with Tuxedo Black Memento and colored the images and the rhinestones with Blendabilities. If you notice that the leaves & flower are not colored perfectly, I did that on purpose to give more of a "painterly" effect.

Just love making matching envelopes for my projects!

I used the White Signo Uniball Gell Pen for the dots. They end up looking almost 3-D.

I found the instructions for the box to hold the note cards over at splitcoaststampers in the tutorial section.

Four note cards were enclosed.

I stamped & colored the flower before cutting out and adhering to the tag. The gift bag was made from 2 sheets of Designer Series Paper. There are various tutorials online to do this. It is surprisingly sturdy. I used words from Work of Art to stamp the tag.
