Simple Anniversary Card & Last Day for Sale!

On November 17, my husband and I celebrated 34 years of marriage. He is the love of my life and very understanding about my Stampin' Up! obsession and my "need" for chocolate. All products Stampin' Up!

Hard to get him to sit still for a photo, but I took this one last year while visiting this cool distillery called Copper Run located near Branson, MO.

This card is very simple and mostly self-explanatory. I wanted a small amount of bling on this card, so I took a scrap piece of Mossy Meadow cardstock, tapped Versamark ink on it (directly from the inkpad) and heat embossed the strip with Iridescent Ice Stampin' Emboss Powder. I really think that little strip coupled with the Gold Metallic Thread added just the right amount of sparkle for a masculine card. I hope you enjoyed the project. Let me know if you have any questions whatsoever or if you just need assistance completing your online order. Please use the hostess code shown in the top right corner when ordering online, unless your order will total $150 before shipping & tax. At that point, you become your own hostess and get all the rewards! Please don't choose "no contact" from the demonstrator.  I just want to be able to send a thank you note and if "no contact" is chosen, I'm unable to even see your name.

Kim

Anniversary Card & Weekly Deals

Yesterday was our anniversary. Yep...been married 33 years to the love of my life. He is amazing and completely supports my addiction to rubber stamps and all things artsy. With him in mind, I came up with this simple card. I think the neutral colors give it a more masculine feel. I saw a card on Pinterest that totally inspired this piece.

I colored the rhinestones with Crumb Cake Blendabilities! I think the Blendabilities are one of the most versatile products Stampin' Up! came up with this past year. You can customize so many of your embellishments and other non-porous surfaces, not to mention coloring your stamped images with them. I achieved the splatter look with just one stamp from the Gorgeous Grunge. After initially stamping the image with either Crumb Cake or Smoky Slate ink, I stamped it a few more times without re-inking it.

The sentiment is from that cool set of stamps called Good Greetings that Stampin' Up! offered free with a $300 or more purchase this past October. The rest of the product list is here:
