Rose Wonder/Rose Garden Thinlits Bundle

I love a deal. Especially a deal on something that I know I will use a lot and is a "must have" for my stash. The Rose Wonder stamp set and Rose Garden Thinlits are the deal I'm reminding you about today. Did you know after May 31, the bundle pricing will not be available? Warning: long post with several samples.

These are just some of the cards I have made using this set. (just in case you are on the fence) All products Stampin' Up!

For the sample above, I actually stamped 2 of the flower/leaf images, watercolored them using various inks and cut them apart and layered them to create the look. The gold frame was cut using 2 different sizes of the (retiring) Deco Labels Collection Framelits. After I cut the frame, I tapped Versamark ink on it and embossed it with Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder.

The sample above almost didn't happen. I say that because the watercolor panel with the blobs of gold glitter on it was just about to be thrown away. It was laying on my desk (in the clutter) and I had moved on to a different Rose project using the die cut. Well...happy accidents DO happen. I had set the Rose die cut down and when I came back to it, it was laying on top of the trash-bound watercolor panel. There you go...a serendipitous situation. I ended up liking that not all of the bits were gone from the die cut and just made sure I put enough adhesive under them to hold them in.

The above sample is tastefully simple. I used (retiring) Lost Lagoon paper & ink. The white splatters were made using my favorite splatter stamp from Gorgeous Grunge and some White Stampin' Emboss Powder. The butterfly has Wink of Stella on it to make it sparkle, it just doesn't show up well in this picture.

The above card was very quick to make. I stamped some Whisper White paper with the Definitely Dahlia background stamp. I die cut the smaller rose from the thinlit set and glued it down on top of the stamped image, then trimmed it. The black die cut leaves are from the same set. Added a few splatters, 3 rhinestones and a simple word and I was done.

There you have it...if you don't own the Rose Wonder stamp set and the Rose Garden Thinlits, I would order them now. The bundle price (good until May 31) is $49.25 plus shipping & tax. Starting June 1, you will need to order them separately and miss out on the 15% bundle savings.

Time is running out to grab your favorites that are on the Stampin' Up! retiring list!  (some are up to 50% off) The deadline for ordering is May 31 or when supplies run out.  Click this link for a pdf file listing all retiring items.

Please use the hostess code shown in the top right corner when ordering online, unless your order will total $150 before shipping & tax. At that point, you become your own hostess and get all the rewards!

As always, let me know if you have any questions about the projects or the products used. Thanks for visiting my blog.

Artfully Yours,

Kim
