When I first ordered this background stamp called Buffalo Check, I had in mind several color combinations, such as the very common red & black or white & black. However, this morning I had another idea. I needed a simple birthday card suitable for either male or female.
I paired the Buffalo Check background stamp with a die from the Winter Woods Bundle and the tiny "Happy Birthday" from the Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set. I also used two different embossing folders.
I stamped the Buffalo Check with Lemon Lime Twist ink on to watercolor paper. I then spritzed a bit of water on the piece of paper and blotted it off after the water sat for a few seconds. In person, you can see the varied watercolor(y) look on this piece.
You can make this too!
