Many years ago, I co-owned a clothing boutique with a dear friend of mine named Vicki. We discovered during that time that we both had a serious love for the sugar-coated, marshmallow-y goodness called Peeps. We would even tuck a few boxes of these in our suitcases to take with us when we went to the April fashion market in Dallas every year.

Due to this particular addiction, they are front and center when I think about Easter. Because of this, I thought what a great idea it would be to tuck a little treat in my own hand-made peep for my family! All products shown below are Stampin' Up!
How cute is this? I used Daffodil Delight card stock to cut out the Curvy Keepsake Box and to cut a couple of feathers for the wings using the Feathers Framelits. Using the same color of ink, I sponged the all edges of the box and feathers before assembling. I used a dauber to add the cheek color. I used Pumpkin Pie card stock to make the feet from cup part of the Cupcake Builder Punch. I punched it out and cut it in half. It works perfectly.
For the beak, I used a square I punched with the 1" Square Punch, folded in half and trimmed. I found just the right size of circles for the eyes by using a portion of the Owl Builder Punch.
I do believe a wrapped Peep or even a Cadbury Creme Egg will fit in this little box. I think it is darling and I think it would even be cute in other colors.
