Tidings of Comfort And Joy

This was a quick watercolor card a I did a few days ago. I love how a watercolor card  can look more complicated than it really is! Most products Stampin' Up!

If you saw my blog post here from yesterday, you will see I've been having stampin' adventures in my kitchen. For this card, I actually started out by putting a light wash on the watercolor piece using left over coffee. It wasn't strong enough for the color I wanted, so I ended up grabbing my Delightful Dijon inkpad to up the color a bit. The rest was just some stamping with images from the Christmas Pines stamp set. By the way...I'm using the Ovals Collection Framelit Dies a ton! It is so great to have all of the different sizes of scalloped and regular oval dies, all perfect for card making.

Supply list:

Want to earn a free gift during the month of October? Simply place an online order between $50 & $149.99 (not including tax & shipping) and use the hostess code shown in the top of the right hand column of this page. Your gift will be mailed around the second week of November. If your order is over $150, don't use the hostess code...you get all of the hostess benefits at that point! If you will be using the hostess code, see below for instructions on how to do so.

Be sure and do not check "no contact" from demonstrator. If you do that, I will not be able to see your contact information to send your hostess gift.

As always, let me know if you have any questions about the project or the products used. Thanks for visiting my blog.

Artfully Yours,

Kim

  1. Love your cards Kim, truly an artistic endeavor on your part. Must know what stamp you use for the background that includes the little stars. Have seen it on several of your cards. Doesn't look like Stampin Up but that's ok.

    1. Loralee...thank you so much for your kind comments. Any stamped images you see on this blog are 100% Stampin' Up! images. The stamp with the tiny stars is in the particular set I used for this card. The set is called Christmas Pines.
