Simple & Bold Christmas Cards

I don't know about you, but I am already thinking "how I am going to have time to get it all done?"  With the rapid approach of Halloween, Thanksgiving and then Christmas, it makes one wonder how they can do handmade cards and gifts. The trick? For cards, finding a way to make something simple, but bold is a good way to go. A card you can duplicate and create in an assembly line fashion. This was where my thoughts were when I created the following cards. For each card, I've chosen to use a neutral color. then a brighter color, along with the pop of the cheery Real Red offered by Stampin' Up! In fact, all products are Stampin' Up! and I am providing links below so you can get right on to the fun task of getting your cards made.

The card below was created using Pool Party cardstock.

The card below was created using Crumb Cake cardstock.

The card below was created using Granny Apple Green cardstock.

The card below was created using Gray Granite cardstock.

Not only did I have all my paper cut before hand to make things go quickly, I used the Stamparatus tool for perfect stamp placement! If you don't own one of these little jewels...trust me when I say you NEED one. Click HERE to see more information. I also have it listed in my product list below. See how dark the black stamped tree is on each card? Using the Stamparatus, I was able to ink and stamp the image repeatedly until it looked as dark as I wanted it to look on each card.

I used the  Subtle Textured Impressions Embossing Folder on the top layer of the card (after stamping the tree) to give the top layer a bit of texture. I used the die cuts and a few of the word stamps from the Merry Christmas to All Bundle for the sentiments and large word dies. All of the colors of cardstock I used are light enough that I didn't have to put an insert inside to stamp my sentiment on. I finished the little tree off with a single rhinestone.

You can make these too!
