The Remarkable InkBig Blog Hop: Thank You Cards

Welcome to the Blog Hop for July 2017. This month our theme is Thank You cards.  You may just be starting the blog hop here at my blog – Stampin' Artfully or may have come from the person previous to me in the list. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all the projects. At the moment you are visiting Stampin' Artfully.

A few days ago, I had a blog post (see it here) called With One Stamp, using one flower image from the new Painted Harvest stamp set, along with a few different sentiments. This is going to be a new feature on my blog, where I encourage you to see your stamps in a different way, stretching your imagination to the possibilities of the images in the various stamp sets you own/need or are "must haves". All products Stampin' Up!

I have a dear friend named Vicki. We have been friends since about 1992. We started stamping at about the same time. When she saw the samples on my blog post from a few days ago, she mentioned that the flower image from Touches of Texture might work in a similar fashion. When she mentioned that to me, my immediate thought was, I bet I could layer it on top of the base flower from Painted Harvest. Well...as you can see, it works!

I stamped the largest flower image from Painted Harvest (available September 1st) twice with Crushed Curry. I stamped the grungy flower image from Touches of Texture with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. The sentiment is from Thoughtful Banners, stamped with same black ink and punched out with the Classic Label Punch. The black rhinestone I used (yes, I'm squealing right now!) will be available in the new holiday catalog September 1st. I will be randomly applying them to just about everything I stamp.

Thanks for taking part in our blog hop, there are so many amazing ideas and inspiration you don’t want to miss. Remember that currently you are at my blog – Stampin' Artfully, so check the blog hop line up list to see who is next in the list.

As always, let me know if you have any questions about the project or the products used.

Artfully Yours,
