The matching die cuts and magnetic Big Shot platform make this look a snap to put together. The middle feather was stamped using the baby wipe technique. The outer 2 feathers were colored with the regular Stampin' Up! Markers.
I watercolored a piece of Stampin' Up! watercolor paper, stamped on it to give it depth and die cut the feather in the back. The middle one was another one where I colored the stamp with markers before stamping. The front feather was stamped and embossed on vellum.

ReplyDeleteI am in love with these two feather cards. These are already making the rounds on Pinterest ;-) Thanks so much for sharing with us!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat do you mean when you say I watercolored a piece of watercolored paper? Do you mean you wet it before stamping to give it depth. I love the card and want to make it using the watercoloring paper. Geraldine Quesenberry
